For every tour / concert the artist make, various venues have to be booked. The venues, promoters, are contacted well in advance of the event and terms of the performance have to be agreed. We have saved a lot of documents from this procedure which we are now selling. The documents, in most cases, exist of only one copy so they are very rare and it is highly unlikely that anybody else will be in possession of the same original papers. The communication producing this rare collection of documents was before internet so most contact was made via telex or fax. This will reflect on the quality of some of the documents. Documents saved from this tour / concert(s) consists of the following: 1. Contract Rider, 5 pages. A RIDER is the part where the artist(s) lay out the requirements (demands) for their visit to different venues. This is sent to the promoter well in advance of the tour and will have to be agreed upon by both parties before a contract is signed and a concert is booked. The Rider will list what the artist(s) want and need to be able to do a good performance. The payment, dressing rooms, security, travel and parking, stage requirements, power, rigging, etc. etc. A RIDER will also often list what the artist(s) would like to have to drink and eat in their dressing rooms or backstage after the show. So what did they drink and eat backstage? It is listed here. This rider is in very good condition. This is a very rare piece of memorabilia and it is guaranteed original and will come with a Certificate of Authenticity + a full money back guarantee. Information of tour dates, where they performed, in which hotel they stayed, local tour manager, flights arrival and departure, load in time, doors opening time, Bon Jovi on stage and Kiss on stage. NOTE: There is a lot of writing on this one. The itinerary is in good-ish condition but with a lot of writing on. It was used by a promoter representative to organise the shows + a written budget on the back of page two. 2. Contract, 4 pages. Contract for five venues in Scandinavia with additional clauses. The contract is in very good condition, apart from the first page which is slightly messy. 3. Contract Rider, 7 pages. A RIDER is the part where the artist(s) lay out the requirements (demands) for their visit to different venues. This is sent to the promoter well in advance of the tour and will have to be agreed upon by both parties before a contract is signed and a concert is booked. The Rider will list what the artist(s) want and need to be able to do a good performance. The payment, dressing rooms, security, travel and parking, stage requirements, power, rigging, etc. etc. A RIDER will also often list what the artist(s) would like to have to drink and eat in their dressing rooms or backstage after the show. So what did they have to eat and drink. It is listed in this rider. The rider is in very good condition for age but with some small writing on. 4. Work permit for the band and crew, 1 page. Before some of the countries in Scandinavia joined the EU most artists needed a work permit to be able to perform there. This is still the case today for artists from outside the EU. NOTE: This is in Swedish but with the names on. The work permit is in very good condition. 5. Other related documents, 3 pages. Comments to rider by the promoter + tour personnel. The tour personnel letter is in very good condition but the two others are very messy, although fully readable.
